This is such a great idea for a Substack! I FINALLY read Funny Story by Emily Henry this year (I have a bad habit of buying new releases right away and then let them age on my tbr shelves like a fine wine 😂🤦♀️). And I just absolutely LOVED it!
I am a K M Gillis fan!! She’s a Canadian indie author and everything she writes just makes me smile! She’s has perfected the art of romance writing with just the right amount of angst, spice, and smiles. I also really appreciate the depiction of healthy relationship habits (miscommunication is probably my least favourite trope!) my favourite book of hers is probably a tie between O Goalie Night and The Write Off.
